Occasionally I send out a newsletter sharing my adventures in coding, design, and entrepreneurship.
“Steve is up to any challenge; he gets it done.”Mirgen Hoxha, Motomtech Owner and Founder
A creative who codes. A coder who creates. An entrepreneur with a penchant for discovering innovative solutions to difficult problems. An enthusiastic businessman with an insatiable appetite for improving himself and the world around him. Stephen Goodrick has traveled to several countries, including Spain, Mexico, and Ecuador. He has also traveled to 44 of the 48 contiguous states. He is proficient in Spanish and is constantly improving his skills on Duolingo. He has over 150 crowns to his name.
Stephen has had the pleasure of working for notable companies such as Cerner, Hallmark, the University of Kansas, the Utah Film Center, and more.
When not bashing his head against some ridiculous design or coding challenge, Stephen enjoys playing the guitar, or the ukelele, walking his two French Bulldogs and getting creative in the kitchen. He also enjoys discovering new hot springs and exploring sand dunes or anything that feels like a memory.
“Rare are those who code and design. Rarer still are those who excel at both. Steve is that fabled unicorn. He brings tremendous value to any team, large or small”Joseph Goodrick, Software Engineer

I am a design pattern junky, and while I love rolling my own code, I embrace brilliant framework creators and service providers. Here are a few libraries, patterns, and services I use most.
